Spam Scams: How Not To Become A Victim
All spam emails we receive every day in tens or hundreds are annoying
and disgusting. But
the worst
of them are scams, hoaxes,
and illegal schemes aimed
at defrauding
you of
your money, private information, and
even your life. Being aware of how
the spam scams work
you will be able
to protect yourself against the spammers-fraudsters and not
to become a victim of their fraudulent schemes.
A lot of spam scams arrive in the form of
a great investment offer. It usually works as a Pyramid
scheme. Spammers ask
you to pay money for a membership,
goods, or simply to "invest" promising you much money as revenue. Your revenue will come
from those people who will
invest after you. Your investment
is distributed to those who joined before you. At some point the pyramid ruins
because there are not enough new
investors to keep the money flowing. The spammer is at the top of the pyramid and he is the only one who
benefits. The scan
may not always look like an investment offer. The spammers
can ask you to distribute some advertising letters to a
list of email addresses, for remuneration.
Although they will tell you
that the list contains only opt-in email addresses, its not true, and you will be
sending spam directly from your computer.
Another fraudulent scheme you may meet looks like a letter coming from a company that you do business with. Usually the spammer asks you to follow a link within the message supposedly to update your account. But actually this is done to worm you out your personal and financial
information. If you click on that link, you will be brought to a page that will look like a companys web site. While you are logging in or filling the form in, the program is recording your keystrokes and
all your private information account number, user name, password, social security number is disclosed. Never click on the links included in such
emails. Just
open a companys web site in a separate window and check your account details out.
Nigerian spam is one of the most dangerous email scams. The mechanism of the scam is simple. The spammer sends you a badly spelled letter on behalf of a government
official, deposed ruler, or relative of a ruling family asking you for help.
They have some
goods, money, or
jewels that they cannot access due to political reasons.
They ask you to allow them transfer large sums of money into your bank account. They
promise to remunerate you for your kindness, or
even leave all money to you. Attractive
offer, isnt it? Dont be a dolt, dont believe them. They tempt you into a trap. Their object is to obtain your account number and bank transfer information. They also may ask you to send them a fee to bribe some corrupt government officials. Further you may receive additional officially looking letters where you will be asked to provide further documents, private information, and money. When they have played with you
long enough, or believe that you may suspect to be led on, they will rob you and quite.
Take care! Dont react upon
any spam message whatever
tempting offer it contains. Delete it at once, or let an
anti-spam filter delete all spam before you download it into your inbox.

Getting to Know your Beagle
Getting to
know your dog starts by getting to know its
breed. At Kingdom of Pets, we keep a large database of detailed information
on the appearance, personality,
and health requirements of individual dog breeds. Here's what
you need to know about
the Beagle:
The
Beagle is a
breed that ranks as
one of
the top choices for families. These
dogs are extremely loyal, charming, and very sweet. Although
great with people,
the Beagle has an amazing sense of smell, which can make leash training a bit of a challenge. However,
with patience and determination, you can help
your dog overcome this behavior. The Beagle falls within
the Scent Hound and Hound group of dogs, which is recognized by the
American Kennel Club. This particular breed is an excellent companion dog and one great
with children and other pets.
Physical Appearance
The average weight for a beagle is between 15 and 28 pounds with height around 13 to
16 inches. With proper care, the Beagle can live up to
14 years of age. The body of this breed tends to be compact with floppy
ears, gentle expression, and smooth, short hair. Although a strong dog, the Beagle is not an overly
muscled breed. The colors recognized by the American Kennel Club include the following:
* Tri-color
* Lemon and White
* Orange and White
Temperament and Personality
Because the Beagle is such a docile breed,
they work
well in just about
any situation. The only thing to remember is that the Beagle
should be well socialized to avoid problems with timidity. However, if you
want a great family dog, this breed is superior. You will find the Beagle to be
highly intelligent although when it comes to training, they can be a bit on the stubborn side.
This breed is generally a pack
animal, which
means they can
have tendency toward separation anxiety. While you could certainly own one Beagle with or without another dog, they are usually more content with a furry friend. Sadly, many people
associate the Beagle with howling and although some do, not all dogs of this breed are vocal.
Funny,
loving, gentle, and enjoyable are all words that describe the
Beagle. Even with their stubbornness while walking, this particular breed is rarely known to become angered. The smaller size, temperament, and personality are just a
few reasons more and more families are choosing a Beagle.
Health
For the most part, Beagles have few problems although there are a few things you want to be aware of before choosing this breed. As you will notice by the appearance, the Beagle has long, floppy ears. While beneficial, the ears can also
stop air from getting into the ear canals, which can
create minor problems. Typically, wiping the inside of the ears out a few times a week will prevent the buildup of dirt.
Another relatively common
problem is with ingrown eyelashes, something known as Distichiasis, which would require a quick trip to the veterinarian. You also want to watch the weight of your Beagle in that these dogs love to eat. Unfortunately,
too much weight can cause serious problems with joints, specifically
Hip Dysplasia. Other potential problems although not as common include Congenital Heart Disease, Polyarthristis, which is a condition by which the immune system actually attacks the dogs joints, and epilepsy and seizures.

Frugal Living: Money Making Ideas for Stay at Home Moms
Just
because youve made
the decision
to stay at home as a full-time mom, does
not mean that
you cant earn a little spending money
on the side. With todays proliferation
of work at home, freelance
and telecommuting job opportunities, stay at home moms have several options. Along with a wide
variety of money-making opportunities, the Internet brings more than its fair share of scams
and rip-offs. However, if
you use a little practical common sense and are not afraid of a little
research, no ones going
to take advantage of you.
There
is one very basic rule that
you should keep
in mind at all times. If you remember this, youll
be immune from most of the scams and questionable offers, If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. No one is going to pay you $1,500 a week to stuff envelopes so forget it.
You are not going to become rich off of 99.9% of
what you read, and the
other 0.1% takes money, effort and time. Now that weve got some basic ground rules, lets look at some options.
Surveys
There are probably hundreds of sites
promoting making good money with paid surveys. The question is, can you really make money with paid online surveys. The answer is yes, you can make money on surveys, and you can get free goods and merchandise. However, I dont
know anyone that makes a living out of surveys (although I am sure someone is). Many survey companies offer entries into prize drawings for
merchandise or cash. Some of the offers are pretty appealing. However, like any lottery, there are lots and lots of losers for each winner. If you want to take a shot, who knows, you might get lucky. However, for the most part you will be working for free, hoping to hit a jackpot.
There are reputable companies that do pay cash for surveys. Its doubtful that you will make a full time wage, however, its a nice way to get a little extra spending money. Before you pay money and invest in a list of survey companies, test the water with any number of free survey companies. One tip: Create a separate email account and use it only for survey offers. You may
find after applying to a number of companies that you will get a lot of email offers. If you are not careful what company you sign up
with, you may find a lot of spamish email and offers that you are not expecting. Its nice to have
an email account that you can dispose of, if necessary, or at least use to separate your personal and professional email.
Mystery Shopping
Mystery shopping can be a lot of fun. Ive enjoyed everything from free meals to free days at Disney as a mystery shopper and gotten paid too! There are a number of mystery shopping services that you can apply to and get a constant list of
jobs that need to be filled in your area. The only real skill this takes is to be able to follow directions, and to
accurately remember or document (on the sly) specific points of interest and then be able to complete an online form. Attention to detail and timely completion of work are skills that will do you well in this fun job. You can take your spouse out to a free lunch or dinner and get paid for your time to complete the paperwork. Once again, you wont get rich, but its a fun way to earn a little money while getting free stuff.
Freelance Work
Freelancing is the ideal job for the stay at home mom because it offers flexibility, the ability to work from home (or where ever you choose) and still earn a decent living to help support your family. In addition stay at home moms can get additional tax
benefits for
their families through their freelance employment and so help further reduce the
financial strain on their families.
As a stay at home mom, you may have some very marketable skills that companies would like to pay you for on a freelance
basis. There are any number of positions for writing, editing, proofreading, web design, graphics art work, research, programming and hundreds of other jobs for which people are willing to contract. You dont necessarily have to be a Pulitzer Prize winning writer to proofread and
correct text, or to retype material from an imaged file into a word processor.
Freelance work is an opportunity for work at home moms to use their time and talents when and where they want: to bid on work that theyd like to do when its convenient for them to work. With a variety of jobs ranging from the data
entry to programming, freelance work can consist of either short-term assignments or longer-term engagements. Best of all, you get to pick by bidding on the work youd like to pursue.
The stay at home mom has so
many options available to help add to the family income. If you are not trying to find the EZ path to riches, there are many legitimate, and free, or nearly free, work from home ideas. Here are just a few.
Be a
fundraising agent, helping groups and
non-profits with proven fundraising solutions.
Get a piece of the $2.5 Billion pet market. Start a pet sitting business, a
doggy day care or gourmet doggy bakery.
Make and sell wire jewelry.

Associate Marketing: Is It the Simplest Means To Make Money Online?
Affiliate marketing has been around long before
the internet, but it has become
so much more popular
as a
way to make
money since then. Let's
take a quick look at
what it
is and what it is exactly
that makes it so special, shall we?
Affiliate marketing is
not about writing
your own product and trying
to find people
to buy it. Affiliate marketing is about recommending someone else's product or products and making a percentage from that sale. It's basically piggybacking on
the efforts of other peoples work, which is
ok, because
they want
you to!
These marketers who
have their own products
will be very eager for
you to recommend their products. If they know what they
are doing then you are their
best friend! And you can easily have a great,
profitable business relationship
with these other marketers; they
create the products and you sell them!
This is really great for both the
affiliate and the creator of the product. The average affiliate
marketer just wants to make
some extra money. They do not bother
with creating products or services or even handling other tasks that come along with being a product creator or owner, like customer
service, updates, upgrades, etc. Great affiliates are really good at figuring out what people want to buy and then directing those people to the product. This is one of the many wonderful advantages to being an affiliate marketer: It is not your job to sell the item. It is your job to simply pre-sell the item. Let the items sell themselves.
Affiliate marketing can be even more lucrative for the affiliate marketer by offering buyers incentives for buying through your affiliate link. What kind of special offers? Well, the smartest affiliates are affiliates that have actually tried the product or service they are promoting. When the affiliate has actually tried the product, they can create better
offers based on what they know of the
product! The affiliate marketer that does this can provide additional reports or even
videos that
explain the advantages or secrets of what the buyer can do with the product or service! If you are an affiliate marketer selling a
software application, then you can tell your visitors that they
will receive a video from you showing the best ways to make use of the software program.
Back to the original question: Is affiliate marketing the easiest
path to make good money online? Without a doubt, yes, it
is. Once you take into consideration the fact that you do not have to make a product and all that you have to do is promote products to people that are already
looking for products you are promoting, taking candy from a baby could not be easier.
