Google Pay Per Click: Making Money With AdWords
AdWords is Google's answer to helping people get their ads out
and increasing their website sales with heavily targeted traffic. This article will give
you a big head start over most.
This is a PPC ( Pay Per Click ) system. You only
pay for advertising when an interested person sees
your AdWords ad
and clicks on it.
The amount
you pay per click is dependent on many factors.
Some
of the factors that go toward deciding the price per click are:
1. The amount of competition
bidding on that keyword.
2. The site value that Google may give your site.
3. The amount of clicks on your ad itself compared to the amount of exposures your ad receives (CTR),
Even
though a keyword may start
at a high price per click, its popularity will bring the price down. Popularity is the result of people using Google to search a term or phrase
and choosing your
ad. As your Click Thru Rate (CTR) rises you will see the price per click go down. I've had keywords start at over one dollar and
fall to about five cents a click.
Some tips to lift your your CTR and thus lower your PPC (Price Per Click) are:
1. Use the keywords that you are bidding on heavily in your ad. This will make the keywords in your ad show in bold and stand out when someone does a search on Google using your keyword.
2. Encasing your keywords in [square brackets} or the use of "talking marks" will ensure your ad relates to what is being searched. Without the [square brackets} or "talking marks" around your keywords, your keywords will cover a larger unrelated area giving your ads more exposure but less clicks. This will
force down your CTR (Click Thur Rate) and force your price per click up. Not a good thing.
3. The use of negative keywords. Negative keywords really bugged me because I read all about them and their use but didn't
know what they were, the articles never actually explained what or how to make them. Just that it was the thing to do.
Negative
keywords: if you were looking for people searching for the keyword "pink" but don't want people who are searching for "light pink" then you would ad the negative keyword -light to your list of AdWords keywords the same way
as you add the keywords you are bidding on.
Did you notice the minus sign (-) next to the keyword above? Here it is again, -light. You put in as many negative words as you can think of to narrow down searchers to the ones you want.
4. With AdWords you can go locally or globally. You can limit your ad to only viewers in a particular city, state or country. If you live in New York City selling
meat pies, then you may not want to sell them to china.
Limiting your ad to a specific location, country and language will increase the likely-hood of great targeted traffic clicking your ad and bringing the average price of your clicks down.
With AdWords your aim is to get highly targeted cheap traffic to your website and to make sure you are profiting from the use of AdWords. To see if you are profiting you have to answer these questions:
A. How many clicks does it take to get one sale?
B. How much do I profit from one sale?
Divide A by B to see if you are in profit using AdWords or losing money! If you are in profit great, if you are losing money your keywords, negative keywords and your ad need more fine tuning or changing. You may even have to reconsider what you are trying to sell or your sales copy. A customer follow-up auto-responder will help improve
copy sales. People don't often buy the first time they see a website, but you are off to a much better start then most.
AdWords gives us the ability to give people what they are searching for and to profit from that service. Start slowly with a small daily budget and have fun.
The opposite side of the AdWords coin is AdSense. For more information see my AdSense article.

The Leo Wanta Saga, Pt. 20: Next Few Days Critical In Whether $4.5 Trillion Wanta Money Repatriated For Americans
The Ambassador Leo Wanta story has
been ringing
in the ears
of high level officials all over the world
for the last two weeks ever since President Bush
and the Federal Reserve Board refused
to honor a $4.5
trillion written agreement
to release the
money for the betterment
of the
American economy.
Wanta had previously entered into an agreement with high level U.S. authorities and a number of world wide banks to repatriate the massive amount of money.
But his efforts have been blocked by officials who
are afraid to open
up a "financial can of worms," leading to the misuse of trillions of offshore
funds by Bush Sr., Clinton and many other high level U.S, officials.
Wanta has been declared legal trustor of more than $27.5 trillion
in offshore funds amassed when he
was instructed by President Ronald Reagan to destabilize the Russian currency at the end of the Cold War, which turned into a highly successful
financial program beyond Wanta and Reagan's wildest dreams.
But instead of using the money to strengthen America after Reagan was out of the picture, Bush
Sr. and Clinton devised a
plan to use the money for their own underhanded purposes, jailing Wanta
in the process, as they then created phony front companies and illegal trusts to use the money illegally.
Once Wanta was released
from jail, he began a quest to recover the money against enormous odds and a level of corruption called by financial observers as the "biggest bank heist in the history of the world."
Although the incredible details of Wanta's patriotic search for trillions is too long and complicated for
this short article, the story supposedly had a quasi-ending when the written settlement in May, assisted by two federal court judges, was entered into for the
repatriation of $4.5 trillion.
However, when Wanta became alarmed by long delays, he gave officials until July 31 to release the
money, saying this publicly on Greg Szymanski's radio show, The Investigative Journal, and confirmed by Michael C. Cottrell, treasurer of his AmeriTrust Groupe,
Inc., the company established to return the money to the people in the form of an immediate $1.575 trillion in federal tax money and the balance of the money
set aside for improving the bewildered American economy.
Furthermore, when the July 31 deadline came and went, Wanta vowed to take all steps necessary to recover the money and as this story went to publication, Cottrell said "we are moving forward," remaining confident in the final goal, which is full and final receipt for the money due Ambassador Wanta .
Besides the $4.5 trillion settlement, financial observers claim the Wanta saga is the tip of the ice berg, revealing a vast war chest of more than $300 trillion used by the New World Order, headed
up in America by Bush Sr.
Coincidently, this amount was even confirmed by Bush Sr. in the federal court room of Judge
Deborah Batts in 1989 when arrogantly stood up in front of lawyers and said when confronted with the possibility of the exposure and elimination of his illegal cash cow, the Federal Reserve:
"Over
my dead body will this ever happen and I have a $300 trillion dollar war chest to fight it."
Although no firm
time frame has been set for the resolution of the Wanta matter, observers claim next week is a critical period to watch.
Further, observers say to watch for "the bigger picture" as the Wanta's exposure of the misuse of trillions of offshore money could have reverberations worldwide leading to a
possible shake-up in the Federal Reserve banking
system and a round up to justice of many high level officials who have been illegally using trillions of dollars behind the backs of the American people and the people of the world.
However, while the officials do their financial wrangling, let's look at a sampling of emails, only a handful of thousands sent to Arctic Beacon by average Americans made aware of what has been called one of the most important stories in American history:
From Windsong in California:
I have been following this closely
because of some mention of it on a forum I read quite often. I admire Ambassador Wanta for standing for truth and not being moved by people that have the
power and influence on their side. It seems he is up against impossible odds. So I suppose my question is this, in light of the government's
refusal to sign off on this, what is Wanta able to do? I hope all are exposed that are to blame for this,
but other than that what leverage does he have. My prayers are with him.
From Loretta Weston in Arkansas:
I am editor for a
small independent family-oriented newspaper in Arkansas USA interested in reporting on the Leo Wanta story. We are an all-volunteer staff where all funds go directly to
printing/postage costs. However, we want to help spread the word to our over 4000 loyal readers in the US & Costa Rica. How can we get access to the full articles on your web site?
From Garrett Seick in Washington state:
For my part, I have contacted several journalists, editors and elected officials (WA) and Senate & Congressional Committees (Budget, Finance, etc). The responses/replies received from media-types indicated personal agreement that this issue needs exposure, but that it was outside the "scope" of the publication, or that it was too big to handle. On the elected official side - mostly standard-fare like this from Washington State Senator Patty Murray: (note: my reply to her response appears first)
Senator Murray,
All due respect, Ma'am. Thoughtful deliberation?... How about action on this issue! Come on, Senator! Get educated about it & bring this to the public eye. If not, you've been duly informed & will go down in history as complicit! Please, take action on this issue & help
save America - land of the free (?) &
home of the BRAVE.
Dear Mr. Seick:
Thank you for contacting my office. Your thoughtful comments regarding Leo Wanta are greatly appreciated. Representing the state of Washington in the
United States Senate is a solemn responsibility, and matters which come before this body must be decided not in haste, but through thoughtful
deliberation. ... Please be assured that I will keep your views in mind. Again, thank you for your comments. I hope you will stay in touch. Sincerely, Patty Murray United States Senator
From Jeanette Woodward-Partridge:
I wrote you the other day about my fear that if this government got a hold of $27.8 trillion dollars the world would be a
nuclear graveyard in short order. I had an idea and I was wondering if you could run it by Ambassador Wanta next time you speak to him. Could these funds be divided among the LEGAL citizens of the US? That is every U.S. citizen, native or
naturalized would get an equal share. Can you imagine how that would effect the economy of the world?! I'm so concerned about that money falling into the clutches of the powers that be that as I said I'd
rather see it destroyed than to help fund the annihilation of the planet.
From Don DeHaven:
I have been e-mailing this story to my
e-mail list and I have
asked that they do the same. My list covers many states and in turn as it gets passed on many more states. I have also e-mailed Congressional reps as to my demands. I know that many on my list have done like wise. Keep up the work and please tell Mr. Wanta that he is not alone. The revolution has started and as many more Americans wake up to the criminal
elements in government many more will be involved.

Pooches in Pictures; How Hollywood influences the dogs we bring home
No actor wants
to share the stage with
a dog, for he will undoubtedly be upstaged. Its all but impossible to watch
a dog movie without falling head over heels into puppy love. Consider Mom, the warm-hearted Border Collie from the 1995 blockbuster Babe. There was nary a dry eye in the theater
as she watched her pups sold. Disneys 101 Dalmations left
an audience crying (as Cruella), I want those puppies! Even television commercials tug at our heart-strings. Dinky started a Chihuahua craze the world over
as the spokes-dog for Taco Bell, while Spuds Mackenzie ushered in a new generation of Budweiser Beer drinkers. There is no doubt about it; the media
has great influence over pet popularity, particularly those of the canine persuasion. In itself,
this isnt a terrible thing, but when it comes to choosing a pet for your family, Hollywood
can spell disaster!
Just imagine a couple
going to a movie featuring a cute child. On screen the child is humorous, attractive,
and clever. It never gets into trouble, except when it is funny. Imagine the couple falling in love with this on-screen child, going so far as
deciding to have a
baby of their own, without taking any of the complications of child-rearing into consideration. They dont expect to have any troubles with their childthey naturally expect it to resemble the child from the movie.
Sound ridiculous?
Now imagine
that same couple six months after their baby is born. They are now trying to find a family to adopt their child. It takes up too
much room, and they cant leave it home by itself while they work all day. They
had no idea how much money it cost to feed and diaper it, not to mention the doctor bills! The baby demands too much attention, and over all, they cant take anymore crying.
This same scenario happens over and over again
every time Hollywood releases a dog
movie. Dont get me wrong, I love a good dog movie as much as the next canine enthusiast, but there are good reasons Sandi Dreimel of TheDogInformant.com sites this as one of the four worst reasons for getting a dog.
The next time you think about bringing home Rin-tin-tin remember: Dogs are great stars, and often several dogs share one role. Nine different dogs have played the part of Lassie since it first premiered in 1943. These dogs are trained by
experts for years
before they are accepted on the set. Special tricks and
effects can give animals human-like qualities. But real pets are only tooreal, and individuals end up disappointed when the pet they purchased doesnt behave like their screen counterpart. Disappointment quickly turns to annoyance and sometimes can even become abuse.
Besides expert training, many Hollywood dogs require extensive care. Frequently films will feature rare and exotic breeds that are difficult to care for. Take our little talking tacquito friend. Chihuahuas, while smart and affectionate, need careful socialization to keep them from becoming suspicious of strangers, jealous, and even aggressive! Their tiny frames, while adorable, make them vulnerable to injuries. All of
these traits make Chihuahuas an unsuitable companion for children, but these arent traits generally advertised on Taco Bells commercials. However they should definitely be taken into consideration before bringing home Tacos twin.
At times Hollywood has actually created a breed boom with a movie. Unfortunately this instant
popularity can attract the wrong crowd. There are irresponsible breeders out there who are more interested in making money than careful breeding. Their negligence can result in animals of poor health, bad temperament, and inferior structure. Sadly these breeders are everywhere. It may take a little research to buy a purebred,
something impulse buyers, like those influenced by the latest Hollywood trend are unlikely to do.
What happens to these pooches when people become bored or disillusioned with them? Too often yesterdays fads become a burden on
shelters and rescue groups struggling to place forsaken pets. Roughly 60% of animals in shelters are eventually euthanized. So, before you go looking for that Lassie look-alike, remember that choosing a pet is a lifestyle choice, not a fashion statement. Think through your decision, realizing that dogs require time, money, and a lifetime commitment. (Most dogs live between 10 and 15 years.) If your child has her heart set on Pongos stunt double, consider buying her the DVD, or better yet, a stuffed animal. And if you do decide to get a dog, make sure you read up on its breed, spend time with it, talk to real dog owners, and set realistic expectations for yourself and your new pet. Theres a reason dogs are known as mans best friend. But as with people, choose your friends with care!

Did You Know?
German Shepherds were among the first dogs trained
for police
work- beginning around 1900
in Ghent, Belgium.
Dogs
body cells contain the most pairs
of chromosomes (heredity- carrying structures) of any mammal- 39 pairs.
There
is an old Chinese
belief that
if a person owns a
good and faithful dog that the dog will sacrifice
itself to Death when Death demands a member of its immediate family.
The most decorated
U.S. dog during World War II was a German Shepherd/Husky/ Collie mix named Chips. He also served
as a guard dog
in North America and
later earned a Silver Star for capturing a machine gun nest during the invasion of Sicily.
Dogs have been used to determine whether twins are identical or fraternal because identicals have the same scent, but fraternals do not,
no matter how much they may look alike.
The Latin word for faithful is Fido? Could this
possibly have any connection with the fact that so many dogs are named this?
If an old or sick dog does not shake itself after getting up that this is a sign of bad overall
health? Each dog shakes itself to
get every muscle and tendon back into perfect place after waking up.
A dog can survey an area between
200 to 270 degrees, depending on the shape of its skull and the positioning of its eyes, compared to the average of 100 degrees for a human being.
Due to the popularity of lap dogs in ancient Rome, Julius
Caesar once mused if Roman women had ceased to have children in lieu of their new four-legged companions.

Making Money Online: Facts, Myths, and Lies
People
are flocking to
the internet by
the millions, seeking
a way to make money online. Some are only looking to make extra money to help pay bills, provide for their childrens college, or supplement their retirement. Many are seeking to make enough money to quit their job and make a fulltime living from home.
While all these goals are certainly achievable online,
you need to know the facts about making money online. Without knowing the
facts, you will
be victim to the myths and lies that are prevalent in this industry.
The Facts:
If you are new to internet marketing, full of hope and excitement, you may not want to hear this, but 95% of all internet marketers fail. Is
it really that hard to make money online? No, but its not that easy either. The good news
is that you can be part of the 5% that are successful.
But you need to know why 95% fail, and
more importantly, you need to know what the other 5%
do differently to succeed.
So why do 95% fail? Well, there are many reasons people fail online, but here are the top
3 in my mind:
Ignorance: People simply have no clue how to make money online. There is a huge learning curve in this industry.
Can you imagine what would happen if hospitals recruited surgeons off the street without experience? What would the mortality rate be? At least 95%! Starting an online business without knowing what you are doing is the same thing. Ok, so nobody looses their life from a failed business. But you could easily loose your life savings. You should make educating yourself in this industry one of your top priorities.
Lack of Driving Desire: Many people dream of the
financial freedom
they can have through their own online business.
But few are ready to make the commitment necessary to realize their dream. This business takes work. It is an emotional rollercoaster full of ups and downs. If you dont have a real burning desire to drive you through the obstacles and challenges, you will not make it. Rate your desire to succeed from 1 to 10. If youre not at least an 11, forget it.
Now Im not trying to frighten you out of your dream, but you need to be honest with yourself. This is a great business. It not only rewards you with financial freedom, it really develops you personally as well. The best reward this business gives is the person you become in the process.
But you have got to want it so badly that you will do whatever it takes to succeed.
Disillusionment: People fail when their unrealistic expectations are not met. They become disillusioned and quit. In fact, the only way you will ultimately fail is to quit.
As long as you keep learning and applying what you learn, you can ultimately succeed. This is the key to success in any endeavor. But the minute you quit, you fail. So dont quit.
Now lets talk about what it takes to have a successful home business online?
Essentials for Success:
Education:
I know I already mentioned this, but it is that important. Building an online business without knowing what you are doing is like performing surgery on yourself.
Youre going to get hurt. Im not saying you cant do anything until you learn everything. In fact, a big part of your ongoing education will come from doing.
Simply invest time and money in your education as you go.
If you are going to use traffic exchanges, learn about how to use them effectively. If you are setting up an auto responder, read what you can about auto responders and how to write an effective series. And if you are going to use Google AdWords, you had better learn how first.
Dont deprive your education because you dont want to pay for a book, course, guide, or whatever. If you learn just one thing from a course that helps make you money, then that one thing will be worth far more over time than the cost of the course. One of my favorite sayings goes, If you think education is expensive, try ignorance.
Mindset: Your thoughts are real things, and they are powerful! But they can destroy you just as easily as they can serve you. Invest in a copy of Napoleon Hills best seller, Think and Grow Rich. Read it. Successful People are always reading.
You need to learn to control your thoughts and emotions in this business. You need to be positive. You will face many disappointments and challenges on the road to success. It really matters whether you believe you can succeed or not.
Because whichever way you believe, youre right.
Never blame
someone else or some program for your lack of success. Take ownership of your success. Your success is entirely dependant upon you.
A Hot Product or Service: This may seem obvious, but if you are going to be successful, you need a product or service people actually want. It needs to be something of real value. Stay away from fads that only last a short while.
You dont need your own product or service. You can sell someone else as an affiliate. Or you can build a business reselling digital products. Whichever way you go, its important to due your due diligence. Research the demand for your product/service.
A Target Market: This goes hand in hand with a hot product/service. If there is a demand for what you are selling, then there is a market. But who is your market.
Who would want your product? It is important to identify or target your market as precisely as possible. Otherwise, you will waste valuable resources marketing to people with absolutely no interest in your product or service. Dont try to sell steak to a vegetarian.
Define your market by asking questions. Some questions to ask are: Whats their gender? How old are they? What do they do for a living? How much money do they make? Where in the world do they live? Define your customers as completely as you can.
Thats your target market.
An Effective Marketing System: Now that you have a hot product, and have identified your market, you need an effective means to bring the two together. Im not going into a discussion of all the different ways to market a product online, but I do think it is important to understand what an effective marketing system is, and how to develop one.
An effective marketing system is one that gives a reasonable return on investment (ROI). It not only needs to produce
results, it needs to produce enough results to justify continuing with it. Also, your marketing
has to be geared towards building your list of contacts. You will here a million times: the money is in the list. Building a list of contacts is not just important to your business; it is your business.
Set a marketing budget and stick to it. As you begin to make some profit, reinvest it into your business and increase your marketing efforts. Make a plan designed around your budget.
There are many free and paid ways to market. Decide on a mix that fits your budget.
Also, set a schedule and stick to it.
Setting a schedule with well defined tasks will help you to stay focused and increase your productivity. Don't over do it. You dont want to try and build Rome in a day. Dont neglect your home, while building your home business. Once you have your plan, work it consistently.
Domain Name and Hosting: Even if you are planning on selling someone elses product as an affiliate, you will want to invest in a domain name and
hosting. Your domain is you own address (URL) on the internet. I recommend GoDaddy.com. Their prices are very reasonable, and the service is excellent.
Once you have your domain, you will need to host it someplace.
I recommend using Host4Profit. They have excellent
customer service, and an easy to use control panel, all at reasonable rates.
Now why would you need a domain and hosting if you are selling someone elses product? You will eventually want to use Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising. PPC search engines will not allow you to advertise someone elses site. You will need to set up a landing page that will send your visitors to your affiliate page.
You can also design and host splash pages for traffic exchanges.
You can set up email addresses on your domain, which will help give you a professional look.
Bottom line is, if you want to be successful online; you will eventually need your own
website. For a great deal on your own website, click the link in the resource box at the bottom of this article.
Myths:
Get Rich Quick: Many people think that they are going to get rich quick online. It takes the average person 3 to 4 years before they start to make any real money online.
Do you have to spend 3 to 4 years to make real money online?
No, you can do it much quicker if you know how. Its just that it takes the average person 3 to 4 years to learn how.
It also takes time to develope a large network of contacts and steady traffic to your website.
The simple truth is that building a long lasting, profitable business online takes time and effort.
You Have to be a Computer Geek: You dont have to be a computer geek.
However, you should have basic computer skills. I would also suggest investing a little time in learning HTML. What is HTML? HTML (HyperText Markup Language) is the language that browsers read.
Websites and many emails are written in HTML. You dont have to master HTML, but a basic understanding is very helpful.
You Have to Invest a lot of Money: You dont need a lot of money to get started. You do of course need a computer and an internet connection.
But beyond the hardware, you can start for next to nothing. However, to reach your goals you will need to invest more money.
The key is to focus on your plan and stay in your budget. Expand your budget as you begin to earn some money. Reinvest everything you earn at first. This way you can start a business on a shoestring budget and use your earnings to build it big.
Lies:
Money Without Work: There is no such thing. Even a crook has to work to rob you. Heres a very true saying: The only place you can find money before work is in the dictionary. An honest business requires an honest effort.
Scams: There are all kinds of scams out there that prey upon the desperate, ignorant, and greedy. It is important to do the proper due diligence before joining any money making program or service. Here are a few tips to help you spot and avoid these internet lowlifes:
One thing that should get your B.S. alarm ringing is outrageous claims.
We all know that if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Yet we still fall for wild promises. If someone tells you that for a price you can make $10,000 in a month, RUN. If they guarantee it,
RUN FASTER. Evaluate claims with your own good sense, and dont let greed get the better of you.
Another sure sign of a scam is if there is no real product or service of value.
Whenever you talk about multi-level marketing, someone always asks the question: Isnt that a pyramid scheme? The truth is, almost all effective organizations, whether business or government, are pyramid shaped. This is so for the same reason wheels tend to be round. It really is the most efficient structure.
What makes a pyramid scheme a
scam, is that there is nothing of real value flowing down the pyramid, only money flowing up. Everyone at the top makes money, everyone else pays for it. I only deal with programs that offer a product or service that I find valuable.
Check their customer service. Send an e-mail, or call them. If you get no response, run and never look back. Even if you get a response, what kind of response was it? Was it timely? Did it answer your question adequately, or did it just refer you to a FAQs page? The hallmark of an honest, well run business is great customer service.
Check their reputation. Check with the Better Business Bureau, and see if there have been any complaints filed against them. Also checkout what the forums have to say about them. You can do a search on the program to find posts that mention the program in question.
You need to use a little discernment here. Remember, 95% of all online marketers fail. They fail because of laziness or lack of knowledge. When they fail, many of them blame the program and blast it in the forums. So if one or two people cry scam, it may just be a case of sour grapes.
Well I hope this is of help to you in your quest for success. Remember, anyone can be successful online, if they will follow 8 simple rules:
1. Study to learn everything you can about this business.
2. Apply what you learn.
3. Set realistic long and short term goals.
4. Make a plan to achieve those goals.
5. Work hard towards executing your plan.
6. Stay positive.
7. Be consistent.
8. Dont Give Up.
See you on the beach!
